Icom M1EuroV
The IC-M1EuroV is submersible and waterproof to 1m for at least 30 minutes, enough to cope with the harsh weather conditions encountered by any of today's mariners. In addition, by including a waterproof microphone/accessory socket, the radio can be used whilst strapped safely to a belt or stowed in a pocket, leaving crewmans hands free to deal with other activities.
The first in its class to use a powerful Lithium Ion battery, the IC-M1V’s 5 watts can carry a conversation a long way. Charging is easy; with Lithium Ion, there’s no need to fully discharge before recharging, as should be done with Ni-Cd's.
Th IC-M1Euro V is very easy to user a with its extra large LCD which now includes a ten character, scrolling channel comment which users can program themselves.
